Who we are

Unopar is among the largest Brazilian universities, with more than 100 undergraduate courses, Sequential, Postgraduate and Masters in classroom teaching as well as in distance learning (DL) in all areas of knowledge. We also have about 3000 employees and more than 150.000 students.

Reference in Higher Education in Brazil, we have classroom education campi in the cities of Londrina, Arapongas and Bandeirantes. In addition, we take classroom and via satellite teaching to all Brazilian states, in more than 350 poles of distance education, with about 2000 tele rooms.

In classroom education we offer 36 undergraduate courses, about 80 postgraduate courses (the number varies each year) and three Masters courses (Dentistry, Science and Technology of Milk and Rehabilitation Sciences).

In Distance Learning (DL), Unopar was the first Brazilian University to attend the resolutions set by the Ministry of Education (MEC) for this modality, being a national reference in this area. Currently 16 undergraduate and 15 postgraduate courses are offered in distance learning.

Quality in education and social responsibility: this is the foundation that guides Unopar. To facilitate this and in order to form professionals well prepared for the labor market, the university has a strong tripod in Teaching, Research and Extension.

The research is treated as a vision of future: the goal is to transform the results into policies that contribute to the development of the country. For this, Unopar has all the necessary infrastructure and human resources, investing in modern equipment, adequate facilities and qualified teachers.

The basis for the training of researchers is the master´s programs which offer students high technical scientific and professional standards.

The programs of graduate and undergraduate courses, covering all areas of knowledge, aim at molding more competitive professionals, with a constantly updated curriculum to meet the market requirements and business demand.

In the distance learning (DL) we have an innovative pedagogical and technological innovation that makes the first Unopar Virtual University meet the quality references set by the Ministry of Education.

And going further, expanding our Distance learning across borders, bringing higher education to many countries in Latin America.
